Carer Friendly Accreditation

Carer Friendly has been designed by Carers Trust South East Wales in collaboration with carers, to improve and increase access to information and support for carers across the UK. We are working with services to provide them with the tools, training and support to establish good practice and to celebrate the great work they do to support carers.

Our award standards

There are three levels to the accreditation scheme:

Show you care - become Carer Friendly

Organisations complete a self-assessment tool, provide a portfolio of evidence to prove that they meet the criteria and that portfolio is then put forward to our Carers Review Panel who review the portfolios and either approve the accreditation or provide con structive feedback on areas for improvement.
