All Wales Forum of Parents and Carers of People with Learning Disabilities

The All Wales Forum of Parents and Carers recognises the incredible value of unpaid carers in our society and represents the collective voice of families in Wales who care for people living with learning disability. We commit to always recognise that value and voice by always listening to and supporting unpaid carers. We pledge to raise awareness around unpaid carers, including those who may not define themselves as such (including young & sibling carers), and to support them to recognise their rights and their value through their personal experience. We also commit to representing family carers at a national, regional and local level across Wales, ensuring they have a strong voice and are empowered to use it.
